Position Overview:

As an Enterprise Systems Consultant, you will:

  • Engage in strategic discussions and assist business leadership in optimizing their use of SAP S4/Hana.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to foster open communication, identify challenges, and establish enhancement priorities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for business process optimization, aiding the organization in achieving peak productivity.
  • Assess business requirements and effectively communicate plans to stakeholders for their review and endorsement.
  • Transform business needs into actionable solutions, ensuring successful implementation within SAP S4/Hana or other third-party applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within SAP S4/Hana processes across various modules including SCM, MM, IM, eWM, QM, and MDG, while also addressing interface challenges.
  • Guide clients through the problem-solving process and follow up to confirm resolution of issues.
  • Implement SAP S4/Hana solutions using established system development lifecycle and project management practices.
  • Apply change management strategies and ensure comprehensive documentation for system modifications.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external support teams to troubleshoot system issues, develop enhancements, and manage project tasks.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for both functional and technical SAP S4/Hana challenges.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT teams to ensure solutions are effective and consistent.
  • Create and maintain testing scripts.
  • Facilitate and conduct end-user acceptance testing in accordance with support team protocols.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of policies, processes, and standards within the technical landscape.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment that demands optimal system performance, minimal downtime, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or equivalent professional experience is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Proven ability to train both internal and external users.
  • Experience in writing test scripts, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Background in system implementation is required.
  • Familiarity with leading systems implementations utilizing SDLC and project management methodologies.
  • Capability to support both SAP S4/Hana and non-SAP S4/Hana systems.
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry is advantageous; FDA experience is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of SAP S4/Hana.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
