CORE FUNCTIONS
•Pricing Strategy Formulation:
o Collaborate with diverse teams to create and refine pricing strategies that align with corporate goals and market conditions.
•Data Collection and Interpretation:
o Gather, analyze, and interpret extensive pricing and market datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities.
o Develop proofs of concept and assess performance for integration into our pricing and revenue management system.
•Pricing Model Creation:
o Construct and design pricing models that take into account various elements such as competitive landscape, cost structures, and consumer behavior to facilitate pricing decisions.
•Insights and Reporting:
o Produce clear and actionable insights based on data analysis and present findings to key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
•Pricing Governance Framework:
o Establish pricing governance structures and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and transparency throughout the organization.
•Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
o Work alongside sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
•Process Enhancement:
o Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, improve data integrity, and elevate overall pricing capabilities within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or certification such as CFA or CPA is preferred.
•A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing omni-channel pricing strategies is required.
•Demonstrated experience in building or utilizing pricing optimization tools, ideally in a dynamic business environment with both manufacturing and multi-channel strategies.
•Experience in creating pricing models and frameworks is highly desirable.
•Proficient data science/business intelligence analyst with experience managing large and complex datasets in challenging settings.
Skills and Abilities
•Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other relevant software.
•Solid understanding of ML Ops and Data Science principles.
•Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
•Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
•Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data-driven insights in a clear and persuasive manner.
•Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
