Job Summary

Dimensions Living Prospect Heights is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily nursing cares to residents, following established facility procedures and protocols.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical, psychosocial, mental, or emotional conditions.
  • Follow standard precautions and work within OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Assist with vital signs, weights, and other care activities as directed by licensed nurses.
  • Answer resident call lights promptly and support team members in answering call lights for unassigned residents.
  • Turn, lift, position, and transport residents safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with transfers using transfer belts, devices, or lifts, maintaining resident safety at all times.
  • Ensure residents are clean, neatly dressed, and well-groomed.
  • Participate in scheduled nursing meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program at an accredited school, college, or university.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
