About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Roberts Hawaii. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the daily maintenance and repair of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are properly serviced and repaired according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring that the necessary materials are available to support maintenance operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities, including metrics on vehicle uptime, maintenance costs, and technician productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a fleet maintenance and/or shop environment.
  • Certifications: ASE certifications in brakes, suspension and steering, engines, power-train, and air conditioning.
  • Licenses: Hawaii State Mechanic License and CDL Type 3 License.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to heavy equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate will be required to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting of heavy objects.
