Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $29.96 and $35.31 per hour, plus an additional $6.00 per hour for employees who hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate. This compensation package is designed to attract and retain top talent in the industry.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for an Aircraft Mechanic - Line Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Aloha Air Cargo. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft. Your primary duties will include:

• Initiating, executing, and signing forms, tags, and other paperwork in accordance with the appropriate maintenance manuals.
• Reviewing all paperwork for completeness and signatures, and releasing aircraft for service in accordance with Aloha Air Cargo or contract carrier's Maintenance Log procedures.
• Performing all duties and special assignments as directed by the Crew Chief or Supervisor - Line Maintenance.
• Providing assistance in interpretation and resolution of aircraft discrepancies.
• Making certain that all safety and accident prevention measures are followed and correction action taken as warranted.
• Repairing, servicing, and maintaining aircraft systems, powerplants, airframe, avionics, and components.
• Accounting for the general upkeep of ground equipment in support of all Line Maintenance activities assigned to them.
• Accounting for production and assistance in interpretation and resolution of aircraft discrepancies.
• Accounting for the proper use and maintenance of equipment used to service, maintain, and repair aircraft.
• Performing any additional duties delegated by the Crew Chief, Supervisor - Line Maintenance, or Maintenance Management personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalency.
• A valid driver's license and a current Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
• A minimum of two years of A&P experience, with previous electrical and avionics experience being highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check, and security threat assessment.
