Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering containers to sites in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve cargo from various cargo services and ensure air containers, pallets, loads, and equipment are transported safely and securely.
  • Complete and submit all vehicle reports, receiving documents, trip sheets, and other related paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Receive and account for all cargo and submit receipts.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
  • Accountable for collection of COD accounts.
  • Report all accidents to the Driver Supervisor immediately.
  • Log break, lunch times, and follow the route on the trip sheet.
  • Able to demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Produce industry experience preferred.
  • CDL A license required.
  • Forklift proficiency and certification required.
  • Maintains licensure and PUC certificates.
