Overview: Cardinal Senior Management is seeking dedicated Dietary Aides to enhance our service team. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met while fostering a supportive environment.
Compensation: $15 to $16 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a respectful and positive dining experience for residents.
- Assist in food preparation following established guidelines and standards.
- Help assemble meal trays according to dietary specifications.
- Serve meals and beverages to residents efficiently.
- Support residents during meal times, including cutting food and pouring drinks as necessary.
- Clear and clean dining areas, including washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold a safe and sanitary environment.
- Ensure proper storage of unused food items, including labeling and dating.
- Restock supplies in preparation and service areas to maintain organization.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or designated supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
- Minimum age requirement of sixteen (16) years with appropriate work documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment.
