About the Role

The Ticket Seller is a part-time position responsible for selling tickets to the general public while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and some weekdays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell tickets to the general public
  • Assist patrons at the Box Office Will-Call window and resolve any issues or problems
  • Create a safe, clean, and friendly environment for all guests
  • Answer questions regarding events, tickets, and schedules
  • Reconcile money received and balance monies at the end of each shift with a supervisor
  • Assist with restocking Box Office supplies
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures for Box Office operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Computer literacy and experience with office equipment, including copiers, computers, keyboards, telephones, fax machines, and printers
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work non-standard hours with a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear, as well as use hands to reach and handle tickets, money, receipts, and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in cash handling and strong math aptitude
