Role Overview:
As a Corporate Development M&A Specialist at Renesas Electronics America Inc., you will be instrumental in formulating and executing strategic initiatives that propel the company's growth and enhance its competitive stance within the semiconductor landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Evaluation: Perform thorough assessments of potential strategic acquisitions and evaluate their alignment with Renesas' internal strategic objectives.
  2. Financial Analysis: Employ financial modeling and forecasting methodologies to analyze business scenarios, evaluate investment prospects, and ascertain valuations of target entities.
  3. M&A Transaction Oversight: Facilitate all facets of the transaction execution process, including due diligence, contract negotiations, and post-acquisition integration planning.
  4. Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including finance, operations, HR, and legal, to ensure strategic initiatives align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  5. Reporting and Communication: Develop and present executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic updates to convey findings, recommendations, and progress on acquisition and divestiture opportunities.
  6. Performance Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor professional development. Conduct regular performance assessments and suggest adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate strategy/development, investment banking, management consulting, or similar roles involving corporate transactions.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a profound understanding of financial statements, with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in developing intricate financial models, conducting ad hoc analyses, and performing company valuations using diverse methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.

Additional Information:
The anticipated annual compensation for this role ranges from $118,500 to $178,000, with eligibility for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer will be contingent upon geographic location, relevant experience, and the candidate's skill set.
