Overview:

As a Retail Associate, you will deliver exceptional service to customers both in-store and through various channels. Your role involves understanding customer needs and providing assistance while adhering to our customer service principles, always prioritizing the customer experience. Retail Associates will engage in various tasks across the sales floor and stockroom, including assisting customers, managing merchandise, processing transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness. It is essential to embody the company values of Accountability, Collaboration, Humility, and Passion. As brand ambassadors, Retail Associates play a crucial role in the overall customer journey.

Reporting Structure: Reports to Store Manager and/or Co-Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Welcome every customer with a friendly demeanor, interpreting their needs and providing appropriate service. Promote the benefits of the loyalty program, address merchandise inquiries, and facilitate purchases.
  2. Transaction Management: Process customer transactions accurately while adhering to company policies. Ensure precise cash handling and communicate pricing details effectively.
  3. Store Maintenance: Uphold a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. Responsibilities include clearing debris, organizing merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas.
  4. Merchandising: Handle incoming shipments, display merchandise according to company standards, and maintain stockroom organization.
  5. Order Fulfillment: Execute all aspects of the fulfillment process, including locating items, inspecting product conditions, and preparing items for customer pickup or delivery.
  6. Loss Prevention: Adhere to all asset protection policies and procedures.
  7. Professional Development: Participate in team meetings and training sessions, remaining open to feedback and coaching.
  8. Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods

Experience:

No prior retail experience is necessary; however, a minimum of some high school education is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in retail roles such as Cashier, Retail Floor Generalist, or Store Receiver is advantageous.
