Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional/Caregiver to join our team at Butler Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will provide patient advocacy and support to our patients, working closely with registered nurses to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient advocacy and support, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit
  • Assist registered nurses with direct patient care, including activities of daily living
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in group activities and provide support to patients with mental health needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • CNA certification (external candidates) or completion of CNA certification within 6 months (internal MHW candidates)
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
Work Schedule

20/40 Part-Time Nights, every other weekend
