Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling services to students, including individual and group sessions, to address a range of mental health concerns.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide consultation and support on student-related issues.
  • Participate in psychoeducational and community building efforts to promote student well-being.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations to support student needs.
Requirements
  • Counseling credential/license or equivalent experience.
  • PhD/PsyD in Psychology or related field, or MSW with LICSW licensure.
  • Currently licensed or license eligible within 12 months of start date.
  • Exceptional skills in working with diverse students and demonstrated commitment to social justice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with peers and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a university counseling center or similar setting.
  • Multilingual counseling skills or ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and brief clinical approaches.
  • Skills and knowledge focused on the needs of underrepresented student groups.
