Job Overview

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Position Summary: The Warehouse Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the stock and supplies within the storage facility. This position involves managing orders to support sales or production processes and accurately documenting the company's inventory to ensure proper storage and availability of items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input data regarding quantities of materials issued and transferred between various locations.
  • Conduct inventory checks and cycle count adjustments in the computer system.
  • Process received shop packets and update the computer database accordingly.
  • Receive and record finished goods in the inventory management system.
  • Resolve quantity discrepancies in collaboration with manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
  • Track and monitor items with shelf-life on a daily basis, alerting relevant personnel when materials expire.
  • Compile monthly reports detailing cycle counts and pick-list counts for performance highlights.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory count.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Practical experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Capable of analyzing gathered information to identify potential discrepancies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Able to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to navigate the warehouse and production areas, reaching items at various heights.
