Technical Training Specialist 2

The Training Department at Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist 2 to support the Engineering & Nuclear Safety Programs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to all levels of personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of the workforce
• Evaluate and provide oversight of training personnel, including contractors and vendors
• Develop in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs
• Prepare personnel for more responsible positions with increasing effectiveness
• Work with customers, stakeholders, and regulators to ensure training programs meet customer needs, regulatory drivers, and contractual requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree combined with a minimum of 3 years of relative experience
• Ability to acquire and maintain certification through the DOE National Training Center, Basic Instructor Training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
