Cardiac Medicine Professional Development Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Development Leader to join our team in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with Nurse Directors in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery to develop and implement programs that enhance staff competence and promote a culture of excellence.
- Lead the development and implementation of education programs for nursing staff, including workshops, webinars, and online courses.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to design and implement quality improvement initiatives that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in cardiac medicine and surgery, and apply this knowledge to inform program development and implementation.
- MSN or MS with a major in Nursing, or DNP or PhD with a major in Nursing, or a BSN with a Master's degree in a related field.
- 5 years or greater of cardiovascular/vascular nursing experience, with expertise in evidence-based practice, writing, research, and practice development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office, with Epic skills preferred.
- Nights and weekends may be required.
- Works in office and patient care environments that require teamwork and cooperation.
