Job Overview

This position plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional first impression to guests by efficiently managing the setup, service, and breakdown of all beverage stations during events. The individual will support the Event Captain in ensuring seamless operations and execution of all event-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently meets and surpasses guest expectations.
  • Adheres to departmental standards regarding portion control, cost management, and profit enhancement.
  • Effectively communicates with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Punctually attends scheduled shifts and complies with attendance policies.
  • Interprets Event Orders and executes the necessary arrangements for various bar setups and receptions.
  • Possesses knowledge of ingredients and recipes for both classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas throughout setup, service, and teardown phases.
  • Responsible for cleaning the event space and bar area during and after functions.
  • Welcomes and serves guests, adhering to the principles of exceptional hospitality and all relevant service protocols.

Additional Information

Skills Required

  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in event bartending, ideally within a prestigious establishment.
  • Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcoholic beverages and hold a valid state-issued liquor license.
  • Familiarity with classic and trendy cocktail recipes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, management, and team members.
  • Proficient in written communication.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Understanding of effective organizational practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience

Previous bartending experience is essential.
