Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Bay Area Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide clinical nutrition support, care, and information to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nutrition support and care to patients and staff
  • Operate various equipment, including calculators, computers, and fax machines
  • Read, write legibly, and converse in the English language
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
  • Use proper body mechanics to assist patients
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Completion of approved coordinated undergraduate program or dietetic internship
  • Registered dietitian or eligible for registration
  • Licensed as a Dietitian in the State of Oregon
  • Current Drivers License or obtain within 30 days
  • Oregon Food Handler, Food Manager Certification, or ServSafe Certification
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience in clinical or community nutrition
