We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Superintendent to join our team at Metromont, LLC. As a Field Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Coordinate with the general contractor, other trades, and Metromont's production and haul departments to ensure a smooth and efficient project execution.
- Site Management: Confirm that the site is sufficiently prepared before erection, including site access, trailer storage, crane pads, and access to survey embed plates.
- Quality Control: Monitor compliance with Metromont's Standard Erection Agreement and all jobsite-specific requirements.
- Communication: Coordinate with the erector to submit the stability plan, setup stability review meetings, and monitor compliance with Metromont's backwelding and grouting standards.
- Reporting: Submit daily reports as required by the General Contractor and document all meetings and phone conversations in written format.
- Deficiency Management: Manage deficiencies and punch list items on the General Contractor's management software.
- Education: Associate degree in construction science, construction management, or concrete construction.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the construction industry in general contracting, precast plant operations, engineering, or other related fields.
- Skills: Microsoft Office, project management software (Procore, Helix, Prolog, etc.), and strong communication and leadership skills.
