Job Responsibilities:
As a Room Attendant, your primary duties will include maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms. This involves:
  • Cleaning bathrooms, including tubs, mirrors, and floors.
  • Restocking bathrooms with essential supplies such as towels and toilet paper.
  • Replacing shower curtains after guest departures.
  • Vacuuming and shampooing carpets as time permits.
  • Ensuring rooms are organized and free from clutter.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, light fixtures, and other surfaces.
  • Keeping cleaning carts fully stocked and prepared for shifts.
  • Cleaning common areas as directed by supervisors.
  • Making beds and changing linens daily, ensuring a neat presentation.

Work Environment:
- This position may require working up to 30 hours weekly under hotel management.
- Typical hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., varying based on operational needs.
- Employees may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, and noise from cleaning equipment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving furniture.
- Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Up to six months of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with effective housekeeping practices and MSDS sheets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and flexibility are essential.
