About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Gentiva Personal Care. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential care and support to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes or places of residence. Your duties will include assisting with personal care tasks, preparing meals, running errands, and performing light housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

* Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Prepare meals and snacks for clients
* Run errands and perform light housekeeping tasks
* Assist clients with personal care, such as toileting and mobility
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Requirements:

* At least 18 years of age
* Physical ability to perform personal care tasks
* Ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions, keep simple medical records, and function with minimal supervision
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must not have a criminal conviction that bars employment
* Must meet any state requirements related to work experience and training
