Job Summary:

John Muir Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest procedures and technologies.
  • Meet the requirements for scrubbing, circulating, or recording in interventional cardiology, radiology, electrophysiology, and/or cardiac device implant procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 6 months of acute care nursing experience.
  • 2000 hours of experience in Cardiac Catheterization within the last 2 years.
  • 2000 hours of experience in Cath Lab performing no fewer than 30 cases per month and full spectrum of interventional procedures within the last 2 years.
  • RN registered nursing license in California.
  • BLS basic life support certification.
  • ACLS advanced cardiac life support certification (preferred but not required).
  • Approved cardiac rhythm test (required).
