AWS Solutions Architects work closely with AWS Sales and various AWS teams to tackle customer business challenges and expedite the adoption of AWS services.

The Role

As a trusted advocate for our customers, Solutions Architects assist organizations in grasping best practices related to advanced cloud-based solutions and offer guidance on strategies for transitioning existing workloads to the cloud.

You will play a crucial role in driving successful business outcomes across a diverse range of enterprise clients through your enthusiasm for educating, training, designing, and constructing cloud solutions.

This position provides the opportunity to shape and implement a strategy that fosters deep adoption and widespread use of AWS within your enterprise clients, mobilizing resources within AWS and leveraging our extensive partner network.

Travel is primarily regional, with expectations of 15-20% post-pandemic.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures
  • 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
  • Familiarity with SAP systems (such as SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architectural and infrastructural requirements
  • Experience collaborating with end-user or developer communities
