Community Life Coordinator

To assist the Community Life Director in planning, organizing, and directing a program of activities that cater to the social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs of residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aging process and be able to develop and implement engaging activities that promote resident well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of a program of activities that meet the needs of residents.
- Coordinate and verify that assistance is provided to residents for activities and events.
- Provide in-room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
- Maintain detailed records of activity programs and participation of individual residents.
- Participate in resident care planning by identifying the activity needs of residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- State Registered Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required.
- 6-12 months of experience in activity-related duties or related experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The work environment is primarily indoors at a long-term healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
