Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection of rent and payments from residents.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations.
- Adhere to Federal Fair Housing Laws, promoting equal housing opportunities.
- Issue notices for late payments and violations of community rules.
- Represent the company in court proceedings related to evictions, ensuring all documentation is prepared promptly.
- Conduct daily financial deposits during the first ten days of each month.
- Show available properties to prospective tenants.
- Inspect vacant units with maintenance staff to identify necessary repairs and schedule readiness for new occupants.
- Oversee the move-in and move-out processes for residents, including lease agreements and deposit verification.
- Supervise maintenance and refurbishment operations.
- Provide occasional training to fellow managers.
Required Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred).
- Sales/Leasing: 3 years (Preferred).
- Property Management: 3 years (Preferred).
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit professionalism, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated.
- Proficient in computer usage, including property management and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle legally.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Background check is required.
