Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain production machines, attachments, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • PM Record Management: Manage machine preventive maintenance records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair production machines, including injection molding machines, to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Safety Device Installation: Install and maintain machine safety devices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain OSHA, EPA, and Safety documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cell members to diagnose and repair issues, and work with quality to develop corrective actions.
  • Team Management: Manage maintenance technicians, write performance appraisals, and handle staffing issues, including call-ins, vacations, and overtime.
  • Project Management: Manage projects, including budgeting and timelines, to ensure successful completion.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in the Injection Molding Industry or similar industry.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in PLCs, Hydraulics, and machine repairs is a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, and experience with ISO9001 requirements.
