Key Responsibilities
The Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the creation of program acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Procurement Initiation Documentation, Statements of Work, funding documents, Contract Data Requirement Lists, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements.
- Evaluating program procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and mission requirements.
- Participating in and supporting various meetings, conferences, and review boards, providing analysis and input as needed.
- Collaborating with project management teams and providing general acquisition support.
- Utilizing knowledge of Acquisition Management Systems to effectively contribute from day one.
Qualifications
Required:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Three to ten years of relevant experience in acquisition or procurement roles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
