About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, revise appointments as needed, and follow up with patients who have not kept appointments.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Provide clerical and office support within a physician clinic, including reception, telephone, medical records, charge entry, referrals, and retrieval of medical information from internal and external systems and sources.
  • Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Maintain Patient Charts and Records: Thoroughly and confidentially maintain patient charts and records, including importing and communicating of scanned documents.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous Work Experience: Previous work history demonstrating basic office and computer skills, filing, telephone answering, reception, and basic knowledge of computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
