We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Specialist to join our team at Kenvue. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team, you will be responsible for supporting our Lititz site's EHS programs and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Industrial Hygiene Monitoring and Reporting: Perform industrial hygiene monitoring, analyze results, and issue industrial hygiene reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Site Industrial Hygiene Plans: Manage site industrial hygiene plans, including exposure monitoring, containment testing, and hearing conservation needs.
- Respirator Protection and Chemical Safety: Manage site respirator protection program and chemical safety program to ensure a safe working environment.
- Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies: Implement environmental, health, and safety policies and programs developed for the site to ensure compliance with local government and company requirements.
- Process Safety Management: Coordinate and facilitate process safety management through leading the site's Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)/HAZOPs programs to identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards within processes.
- Facility Audits and Compliance: Conduct site assurance (self-assessment) and reviews to identify and correct EHS issues consistent with regulatory and Kenvue requirements.
- Compliance Audits and Inspections: Facilitate compliance audits by assisting management in conducting risk assessments and reviewing operating and maintenance procedures for compliance with environmental, health, and safety programs and policies.
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience: 4+ years of EHS experience is required.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leader who builds trust to achieve desired results is required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of state and federal EHS regulations and an ability to quickly interpret regulatory issues and provide a recommended course of action is required.
