**Job Summary**
Les Stanford Chevrolet and Cadillac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Office Manager to join our General Accounting Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing administrative and HR policies, as well as other critical tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage weekly and monthly payroll, including reconciliation and submission of all payroll taxes on a timely basis.
- Administer 401k management, including weekly submissions, loan administration, census, and other related tasks.
- Handle all new employee paperwork, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Administer employee benefits accurately and on a timely basis, including Cobra Insurance.
- Coordinate open enrollment, including meetings and communication with employees.
- Advise on HR matters, staying up-to-date on program and compliance changes.
- Assist with employee census requests and coordinate month-end activities.
- Support the Office Manager as needed and help oversee the day-to-day running of the General Office.
- Administer accounts receivable, including work schedules, statements, and other related tasks.
- Process service and parts deposits, ensuring accuracy and balance.
- Post customer, internal, and prep repair orders and parts tickets daily.
- Handle unemployment services requests and administer workers' compensation, ensuring correct forms are filled out and submitted.
- Keep accurate records of all injuries and ensure required logs are filled out and posted.
- Handle job verifications and other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- General accounting experience is required, with automotive dealership experience a plus but not necessary.
