  • Conduct visits to current and prospective supplier facilities to assess their qualifications as sources.
  • Lead initiatives for supplier development and improvement.
  • Participate in various projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Recruit and train staff, overseeing their professional development.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies to achieve annual financial targets.
  • Formulate operational strategies, plans, or procedures.
  • Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role includes direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Additionally, it involves activities in manufacturing facilities, adhering to established safety protocols.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related business field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Robust project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, costs, and terms.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to changing production or customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to make logical, responsible, and timely decisions.
