Position Overview: This role is a hybrid opportunity, requiring in-office presence for part of the week. The contract duration is anticipated to be a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent position. Compensation is competitive, reflecting the expertise required for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be tasked with the formulation and implementation of procurement contracts within established parameters. The individual is expected to engage effectively in various procurement functions.

The Specialist should possess a solid understanding of contract and supplier management principles. Experience in creating Statements of Work and collaborating with suppliers for contract review and approval is essential.

Negotiation skills are crucial, as the Specialist will be responsible for securing optimal terms and conditions for the organization. Additionally, ensuring that all suppliers operate under valid contracts is a priority, in conjunction with Category Managers and Legal teams.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks based on factors such as cost, timeline, and complexity, aligning these priorities with internal procurement stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with vendors and internal teams, maintaining a high level of professionalism and delivering quality results.

Professional Competencies:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Expertise in procurement, including knowledge of regional and global markets, procurement protocols, supplier relationship management, and risk management.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, particularly within the Marketing sector (including creative and digital agencies, media, and brand promotion).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
