Job Summary

At America Plastics LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Machine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
  • Install, construct, and maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized courses in electronics and/or mechanics.
  • 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components.
  • Solid knowledge of industrial mechanics principles, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

The Manufacturing Machine Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures. The position requires prolonged sitting and/or standing, frequent walking, and occasional climbing of ladders and working in confined spaces.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift and/or push up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis and have excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
