Internal Job Title - Food Service/Commercial Laundry Specialist
Procter & Gamble Professional is the commercial arm of Procter & Gamble dedicated to enhancing the experiences of our consumers in non-residential settings. We deliver chemical solutions and programs tailored for the hospitality, foodservice, and long-term care sectors, ensuring their environments remain hygienic and secure.
The Specialist role is primarily field-based, requiring independent work to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain our chemical dispensing systems alongside commercial dishwashing and on-premise laundry equipment. This position also entails mentoring and guiding our Senior Field Service technicians. The objective is to provide outstanding service that fosters customer loyalty and exceptional client satisfaction.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive demeanor, and a customer-centric approach, complemented by experience in plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical systems. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Mechanical Warewash (MWW) and On-Premise Laundry (OPL) systems. A solid understanding of regulatory and safety standards, particularly those impacting our MWW and OPL initiatives, is essential, including the ability to interpret schematic diagrams. Proficiency with relevant tools, data, and service requirements is expected, along with familiarity with technology such as Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
A valid driver's license is mandatory, and occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Standard work schedule consists of a 5-day work week, 8 hours per day, with potential for 12-hour shifts, weekend work, and night shifts.
- Ability to lift, lower, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and navigate stairs safely.
- Endure prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, with the ability to twist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach for the purpose of equipment installation and maintenance. Work surfaces may include concrete and asphalt.
- Operate a computer keyboard for data entry and access, as well as utilize a mobile phone.
- Adapt to extreme temperature conditions, both hot and cold, typically in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, dust, and dirt.
- Recognize and respond to various visual and audible alarms and signals related to equipment operation, evacuation, and fire safety.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and operate a vehicle, spending approximately 30% of the workday traveling safely across urban, rural, and highway conditions.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must reside in the designated area.
- On-call responsibilities may include occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
