Job Summary

The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Ticket Office Assistant to work up to 24 hours a week. This role will be responsible for selling tickets, answering phones, and performing other office duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ticket Sales: Sell tickets to various events and performances.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patrons, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Office Administration: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Reliability and Attention to Detail: Demonstrate reliability and attention to detail in performing tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patrons, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Availability to Work Weekends: Availability to work weekends, including evenings and mornings, as needed.
