Key Responsibilities:
Conduct basic wiring and soldering tasks utilizing established manufacturing techniques. Capable of executing Go/No Go assessments on small lights, controls, and various sub-assemblies or completed models.

Interpret drawings, blueprints, schedules, shop orders, specification sheets, process guidelines, and testing protocols, whether written or displayed on a screen. Analyze production timelines for designated intervals and coordinate the procurement of parts, materials, supplies, tools, gauges, and other necessary equipment to fulfill production needs.

Manage the requisition and storage of materials. Distribute KanBan cards to production departments according to established protocols.
Gather and transport items between storage locations and the work cell. Proficient in completing and submitting requisitions, movement tickets, finished goods tickets, and scrap tickets.
Identify, verify, and document material quantities. Report and/or highlight shortages, potential rejections, or damaged materials. Adjust tools, gauges, and equipment as necessary. Conduct operational checks as required. Visually monitor processes to uphold Quality Standards and address any nonconformance or operational challenges.
Utilize hand and power tools, pallet jacks, fixed gauges, jigs, meters, soldering irons, riveters, presses, and crimping machines.

Provide training to new and existing team members to ensure effective operation within the department and guide them through all aspects of Work Cell functions.

Must be adept at using a computer to verify the status of customer orders and shop orders.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Conduct testing, repairs, and tuning of various regulating horns and sirens to meet quality specifications.

Receive a range of assembled regulating horns, sirens, and similar emergency warning devices in a soundproof testing and tuning environment.

Visually inspect products for apparent defects, position products in the appropriate fixtures, and establish necessary electrical and other connections to evaluate operational units.

Make required connections, calibrate, and adjust sound volume levels and frequency testing instruments to the base plate, activate the product, and monitor instrument readings.

Adjust air gaps, manipulate product control mechanisms, and fine-tune to specified standards.

Diagnose causes of malfunctions, perform minor repairs, and replace components or tag units, indicating issues and potential solutions for others.

Stamp identification and approval of products in accordance with standards, document numbers and reasons for rejections, and draw attention to recurring defects.

Employ hand tools and precision sound measurement and recording devices.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:


Safety glasses, hearing protection as necessary, steel-toe boots and/or ESD equipment, gloves.
