We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Avera St Luke's-Therapy Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in restoring patients' function, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and administer medically prescribed therapy services in the home and healthcare facility setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement and set realistic goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program of the American Physical Therapy Association.
- One or more years of experience in hospital Physical Therapy, long-term care, or outpatient therapy preferred.
- Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist required.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or North Dakota may be required depending on the service area.
