Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to patients, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, counselors, and techs to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with patients, family members, physicians, and other nursing staff.
  • Identify patient and family learning needs and develop educational plans to promote health and well-being.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program.
  • South Dakota RN License and/or meeting licensure criteria.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
