About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Avera St. Luke's-Therapy Center. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing care, treatment, and assessment of athletic injuries for individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address athletic injuries and promote optimal physical performance.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop programs to improve strength, flexibility, and overall physical fitness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in athletic training and injury prevention.
  • Work with the Manager of Integrated Therapy Services to plan, evaluate, and integrate new programs within the Avera Human Performance Center.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • BOC National Athletic Training Certification.
  • South Dakota Athletic Trainer License issued by the SD Board of Medical & Osteopathic Examiners.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $36.00 per hour.
  • Varied shifts as needed; PRN.
