Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls in a calm and professional manner, identifying and handling patient needs in a team environment
  • Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information, verifying and updating established patient records
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately in the EMR system, following established policies and procedures
  • Submit patient messages through the EMR system for prescription refills, medical questions, referrals, form requests, or lab/test results
  • Maintain awareness of changes and updates by attending departmental meetings as required
  • Verify patient insurance and meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent medical front office experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Background check and 10-panel drug screen with nicotine included
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
