ResponsibilitiesCHI St. Alexius is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Primary Care team.
Under the guidance of the Clinic Coordinator, the LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The LPN will assist physicians in clinical tasks to ensure that patients and their families receive top-quality care and education that promotes wellness.
The clinic nurse will adhere to the standards set forth by the State Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assist in creating and executing a comprehensive care plan for patients and their families, promoting optimal health outcomes.
- Address the educational needs of colleagues and patients/families using effective teaching and learning principles.
- Delegate nursing responsibilities based on staff qualifications and patient care requirements.
- Complete all required job-specific competencies, including those relevant to age-specific care.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:Licensed by the appropriate state nursing board.
Experience:Preferred candidates will have at least one year of clinical or hospital experience.
