Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Aspire Health Group. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy program.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and educating patients with respiratory disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients with respiratory disorders and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and monitor respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to educate them on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or post-acute care setting.
  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy software and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including Spanish.
