Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Medical Surgical Unit at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical surgical setting.
