Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Emergency Room team at UNC Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and share your expertise with colleagues.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in patient care, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
