Job Summary

LCG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs) within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement WAN and LAN infrastructure
  • Provide production support for network operations, including monitoring and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient network performance
  • Coordinate with circuit and hardware vendors to address issues and dispatch technicians as necessary
  • Monitor network performance, analyze problems, and ensure rapid and efficient resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of WANs and LANs
  • Experience with Cisco firewalls and network security
  • Proven ability to provide production support for network operations, including monitoring and problem resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with WAN infrastructure design and management
  • Familiarity with escalation and communication processes in network operations
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with agency management and internal customers
  • Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) would be a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

LCG, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including a projected salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 per year, benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
