Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Banking Associate to join our team at Truist Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing industry-related research and analysis, developing marketing materials, and managing sales pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct industry and company research to source prospect names and develop prospect lists
  • Develop pitch materials, including industry-specific and general economic information
  • Contribute industry-relevant material for internal deal discussions and take a leadership role in such calls
  • Generate customized industry-specific content for internal and external purposes
  • Take ownership of basic client follow-up activities as appropriate
  • Track calling and marketing efforts to clients and prospects, reinforce proper use of CRM system with the coverage team, and assist as needed
  • Develop an enhanced understanding of the market, credit, and products, and continue to develop relationship management skills with appropriate autonomy
  • Effectively work with partners and teammates with little oversight, able to take ownership of projects
  • Provide strategic perspective around industry expertise and initiatives that drive business growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years of related financial services work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team-oriented
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Demonstrated work experience in finance or related field
