Job Summary

Marquette Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks to apartments and common areas
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
  • Remove snow and trash, and perform emergency repairs as needed
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Order maintenance equipment and supplies, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to their maintenance requests in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment or hotel industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns
  • HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is a plus
  • Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary
