Job Summary

As the Director of Dining Services for Fresh Ideas, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day food service operations at Helias Catholic High School. You will manage and lead a team of employees and be responsible for managing client relationships, profitability of the account, and talent development.

The school does not follow the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Helias Catholic High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers a college-preparatory curriculum and emphasizes both academic excellence and spiritual development, integrating faith into the education process. Helias has a strong tradition in athletics, extracurricular activities, and community service. Hot lunches are prepared by Fresh Ideas food service management in the cafeteria with a la carte food items available for purchase on all full school days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the client
  • Work with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top-quality food for the students
  • Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary teams
  • Act as a liaison between the Company, Client, and the community
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS Hospitality degree preferred
  • Three to five years of food service management experience required
  • Dining experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
