Job Summary:

Working as the Director of Dining Services for Compass Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day Foodservice operations at HELIAS CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL. You will manage and lead a team of employees and you will be responsible for managing client relationships, profitability of the account, and talent development.

The school does NOT follow the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Helias Catholic High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers a college-preparatory curriculum and emphasizes both academic excellence and spiritual development, integrating faith into the education process. Helias has a strong tradition in athletics, extracurricular activities, and community service. Hot lunches are prepared by Compass Group food service management in the cafeteria with a la carte food items available for purchase on all full school days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
  • Maintains excellent relationships with the client
  • Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students
  • Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary teams
  • Acts as a liaison between the Company, Client, and the community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Hospitality degree preferred
  • Three to five years of foodservice management experience required
  • Dining experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
