Peak Toolworks is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both machinery and facilities across multiple locations.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our production environment. Your expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems will be essential to keeping our equipment running at peak performance.

General Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of machinery, including mechanical drives, hydraulic components, electrical systems, and electronic controls.
  • Conduct routine inspections and repairs on building systems such as compressed air, HVAC, plumbing, and external utilities.
  • Utilize CMMS or electronic asset-controlled systems to track maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Identify and source replacement parts to minimize downtime and optimize costs.
  • Stay abreast of safety regulations and implement best practices to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A two-year certificate from a technical school or equivalent experience in a maintenance environment (5+ years preferred).
  • Proven proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing NC, CNC, and PLC controlled equipment.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Electrical certifications are highly desirable.
