Position Overview

Compensation: $25.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt role)

***Monthly performance bonuses are available in addition to base salary.***

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic team at a thriving apartment community in North Dallas. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for all facets of property upkeep, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will ensure resident satisfaction by providing prompt and professional repair services for apartments and appliances. If you appreciate a sense of achievement at the end of your workday, this role is ideal for you.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in on-site property maintenance.
  • Must possess Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Availability for weekends as needed; on-call duty every three weeks for emergencies.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and resolving basic and complex maintenance challenges, including but not limited to:
    • Heating and cooling systems
    • Electrical and plumbing issues
    • Appliance repairs
    • Structural elements such as stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings
    • Flooring solutions including tile and carpet
    • Addressing ceiling leaks

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; weekends as necessary; on-call rotation for emergencies.
